نحن بحاجة إلى رفع مستوى الوعي حول الصحة النفسية. هذه الأوقات حاسمة وصعبة للغاية، وكلنا نتعامل معها بشكل مختلف. علينا أن نتحلّى بالصبر و التّفهم مع بعضنا البعض، فنحن في غالبية الوقت لا نعرف ما هي الحالة النفسية للشخص الآخر، أو التحديّات التّي ت/يواجهها كل يوم ، وما الذي يدور في ذهنها/ه حقًا. لنكن متواجدات/ين من أجل بعضنا البعض ، فلنثقف نفسنا أكثر على الصحة العقلية ، و نكون جاهزين دائمًا للإستماع ❤️
we need to raise awareness about mental health. These times are crucial and very tough, and we are all dealing with it differently. let's be patient and understanding with one another, you never know what's going on with somebody, how hard they are trying to make it through the day, what's truly going on in their mind. let's be there for one another, educate ourselves on mental health, and always listen ❤️

٦٧ صحافيّة و صحافي من ه دول في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا (مصر والأردن ولبنان والمغرب وتونس) شاركن/وا في التدريب حول التغطية المراعية للنوع الاجتماعي الذي نظّمه المركز الإعلامي GAB التابع للمؤسسة العربيّة للحريّات و المساواة و M-Coalition في الأسبوع الماضي. ركز التدريب على أفضل الممارسات لتغطية القضايا المتعلقة بالنوع الاجتماعي مع التركيز على مجتمع الميم عين و الأشخاص المتعايشين مع فيروس نقص المناعة ومجموعات رئيسية أخرى.
67 journalists from 5 countries in the MENA (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, and Tunisia) attended a training for journalists on gender-sensitive reporting conducted by AFE's GAB Media Center and M-Coalition last week. The training focused on best practices of covering gender-related issues with a focus on LGBTIQ+, HIV+, and other key populations.

We are excited to present to you AFE's 2019 annual report that is finally out. After all the challenges that our team had faced, from the economic collapse and the revolution in Lebanon, to the pandemic that has crippled the world, leading up to the blast that hit Beirut, including our team's houses and our offices here at AFE, we kept working hard to present to you AFE's achievements and success stories in 2019. This wouldn't have been possible without the support of our local, regional and international partners, the regional community of friends and allies, and the dedication of our team.

Après tous les défis auxquels notre équipe a été confrontée, de l'effondrement économique et de la révolution au Liban, à la pandémie qui a paralysé le monde, menant à l'explosion qui a frappé Beyrouth, y compris les maisons de notre équipe et les bureaux de l'AFE, nous avons continué à travailler et persévérer pour vous présenter les réalisations et les réussites de l'AFE en 2019.
